SANTA ANA RIVER BICYCLE MASTER PLAN

Re-envisioned river corridor for cross-county recreation connection.
Reach 9 of the Santa Ana River poses a critical link within the greater regional effort to connect a bikeway and soft trail from the San Bernardino Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. Three counties have been working together to bring this vision to completion.

The master plan focuses political will on recreational trail development and greenway corridor protection in the significant, but long-ignored riparian corridor. River cyclists and trail users will gain vital regional connections to Chino Hills State Park, the Coal Canyon wildlife corridor, Featherly Regional Park, Yorba Linda Park and surrounding open space.

CLIENT: Orange County Harbors, Beaches and Parks
